GOOGLE glass has been unleached unto the world!!!

It is not "glasses". It is glass. Because there is only one glass.

One glass to fit your eye. One glass to find your eye, and in the GOOGLE bind them.

It must be taken deep into Mordor and cast into the fiery chasm from whence it came. One of you must do this.

I'd have called them Googgles.

"The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions" - Leonardo da Vinci

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

Wherever you go you get as much information as you want on any given exhibit - including VR videos of how it used to look. As the set incorporates GPS you could even walk around an exhibit and see how it was from all angles.

I've done some work at the Acropolis museum where they are doing similar things on tablets for school tours. The kids hold the tablets up to see statues as they were back when they were made. With Glass - no tablet. It just could be so brilliant its heart-braking.

I'm sure it will be used to deliver porn.... or online games.

I'm so behind the times, I don't even know what google glass does. I assumed it needed to be paired with a smart phone or cell phone contract, which I can't afford, so I haven't investigated. What does it do?

Have you read the novel 'timequake' by Kurt Vonnegut?

I'd do what I do with every film and fast forward to the sexy parts.

The whole would be over in a couple of hours.Angel Cloud

It's so very many times more expensive than a smartphone right now... I'm pretty sure it'd have that built in. It videos what you see. Queue masses of dull YouTube footage... although there have been some good implementation ideas... like the online physics teacher who visited CERN and his class shared his live feed and could ask him questions. It projects an image onto a small transparent "screen" / prism/ overlay looking thing over one eye. People trying it are really wowed. You navigate with various swipes on the arm of the glasses. It's motion sensitive of course so apps like Google maps will follow your gaze.
