Bro, that is a hard to prove claim. In fact with this mind set you won't even listen to any muslim since you think that you know more.

(May 9, 2014 at 12:17 pm)Ksa Wrote: You should therefore know that a Muslim who prays 5x a day is biased, therefore, his non-objective view of the subject renders him the least precise in describing the religion. It won't be any more precise than an atheist who knows nothing of Islam and heard rumors on CNN, because his view is non-objective also.

Biasness is natural when it comes to any belief. You are either a believer or an unbeliever. An unbeliever will think that a believer is biased. A believer will think that the unbeliever is biased.

You say that a person who prays 5 times is not reliable to know about Islam. Brother, don't be offended but I think a person who has kept a rather insulting signature picture showing his or her attitude against Islamic knowledge is also unreliable.

Thank you for stepping into the rake that I laid before you. Islam commands believers to DECEIVE unbelievers. That means telling them anything that's inaccurate, as it is mentioned in Bukhari (49:857), and in at least 4 other verses.

If I don't believe, I don't have to deceive people, so it makes me a more accurate source.

Thank you again for losing this debate, and don't try anything else in the future.

@Ksa, Like I said, with this mind set you won't even listen since you think you know better. Debating, winning and losing didn't even cross my mind. Its your own mind made walls and competition. Kindly keep me out of it.

My sole purpose here is to share information to the best of my knowledge. It is up to you to take it or leave it, that is not my concern.

Nope, I read the whole Quran and confidently say that we are not ordered to kill any infidels unless they start killing the innocent (either muslim or non muslim), spread corruption, evil and oppression. I would still like you to quote the verses you are talking about other then the verses that deals with warfare. I have already posted a detail explanation the concept of Islamic warfare.

In the instance of a Muslim killing infidels how would the Muslim decide if a person is spreading corruption or evil? Or what evil is?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

No bro, first halal means anything that is permissible and lawful. Halal food is all the food that is permissible for a muslim to consume. I am posting you a wiki link. Hope it would be helpful to you.

So whose mindset is narrow? If you come here saying that, to the best of your knowledge, 2 + 2 is equal to 5, and when we tell you you're wrong, you tell us WE are wrong because we don't believe that 2 + 2 is equal to 5, you're the one with a narrow mindset, not us.

Believing is not synonym of being truthful or in possession of the truth. It means that you believe in something that can either be wrong or right, but believing in it doesn't make it right. It may be right for YOU, in that case, get off our forums and pray by yourself in your hole. Don't come here saying that the best person qualified to explain why 2 + 2 is equal to 5, is the person who believes that 2 + 2 is equal to 5. That is the WORST person qualified to do that.

I'll tell you a story. In a Romanian village, the parents of a child said a snake might have gotten into the child's mouth and into his stomach, since their village was snake infested. So they took the child to the village sorcerer who bound the child by the legs, head down, beneath a pot of milk, and chanting so that the snake would go in the milk. The television came of course, the child was sent to the hospital, and after thorough investigations with tools like NMR, they said that nothing was in the belly of the child.

But the countryman kept arguing:

Countryman: The doctors say no snake is there because they don't believe me, they think I'm lying. If no one helps me get the snake out I'm getting my son back to the sorcerer.
Press: But they ran tests and they saw nothing in there.
Countryman: They ran tests because they don't believe me. The snake is there. They just don't believe me.
Press: But if you get the child back to the sorcerer, and the child dies following that procedure, you will go to jail.
Countryman: I would rather go to jail, I'll still hang my son by the legs that way, I would rather watch my son die than see him suffer (bursts into tears) AHHHH!!! GOD!! No one believes me when I say a snake is there.

There is no snake Mr.Subhan Ahmad. The snake is in your brain, eating you from inside out. Let your snake go.

I used to think that people are just prejudiced towards Islam, but I actually made a lot of effort and studied the issue. Even read good part of Quran.

I read books, both by scholars with positive and negative views on the topic. I tried to be objective.

The result: Islam ... is clearly the stupidest of all great world religions.

Christianity and Judaism have both some good things in them ... actually a lot. Islam nicely combines what is worst in both of them and adds some oddities of its own on the top, and neglects a good deal of that which is good.
