I've been experimenting with my blindfold. (Not in a sex way, unfortunately.) It turns out, not being able to see isn't as debilitating as one might think. And there's tons of technology to help.

Brokenquill, how do you get around? I guess you need someone to drive you places?

Thank you 'greatest medical system in the world'. In Murica people are entitled to the best medicine money can buy .. provided they have the money. Meanwhile those can't afford regular exams will pay a steep price for such an unresponsive system. (Blow the sucker up!)

That or the bus. It's really not too difficult once everything is memorized in my head.

Once again people tend to think I'm deaf as well as blind. People talk way more than they should when they realize you can't see them!

Not completely blind if I recall correctly. Of course that would apply to catholic priests. I didn't mean to leave the rest of you idiots out.

I can sense light and motion, but my doctors say it's called "blindsight". It's not really seeing. All my nerves r truly dead.

I'm just very light sensitive
