damn, I've never had an atheistic book... I won't get any until I'm 18 or can get a chance at the bookstore... too many religious nuts around to actually get a family member to get one cheaper online ;\

You could try "Unweaving the Rainbow" by Dawkins as well, or "Evolution" by Donald R. Prothero- a book I always plug because it's slow and steady and very easy to understand.

My personal recommendation would be one of terry Pratchetts "Science of Discworld" books. I'm in your paradigm, shooting holes in your belief system
