What I can Afford

300-500 (plus utilities)

That's nice.

I'm willing to share a bathroom

I'm not.

I'm considering adopting a cat (I haven't done it yet)

I'm on the fence on this. I'd love a heterochromatic khao manei ("Sagan") and an exotic shorthair ("Clara"), but my HOA only allows one, and I don't like poop.

I spend most of my time in my room or at the library

You don't sound clingy. I like that.

I'm looking for a place near public transport

About 200 feet (an MTS line between downtown and SDSU Student Union)

Hopefully with in unit laundry

Wouldn't that be cool?

You are welcome to anything I may cook

I like to cook, too, though. Plus, I'm a cootie freak.

I'm allergic to African Violets

I have eucalyptus and iceplant, IIRC. That's how I roll.

No large dogs (nothing bigger than a border collie)

I feel violent towards dogs and some dog owners. Except greyhounds. Again, see HOA comment above.

No birds (they scare me)

They just annoy me

No Gun Owners

I'm very much pro gun for the able bodied, but I don't feel safe owning one.

Outside Smokers Only

I'll smoke you if I see even an e-cig. In fact, if you're one of those e-cig types...well...*smh*

NO CHILDREN

Duh.

I'd rather not live with a couple but that's fine

I'd rather not interact with people in general, couple or otherwise but that's fine

WELCOME TO SUNNY SAN DIEGOOO! Don't ask me where the best fish tacos are.

Hang ten, bruh.
Um is that a yes?

RE: Moving Out!
Based on your financial requirements, the bathroom sitch, and your need for a unit laundry, I'm afraid not.

I'm out of the shower and feeling less snarky, now, btw.

Personally I wouldn't mind a roomie that could pay up front, and had some reputable people to vouch for them. That would be $150 a month for rent, power, and water, plus you'd be responsible for your own food. I try to keep the house reasonably clean. Not sparkling, but not a pig sty either.

My little town doesn't have public transport, and I commonly hear birds outside my window early in the morning. Though by no birds, you may have meant just no pet birds in the house. We also have children running around outside at times, but I have none in my house.

I meant 300-500 for my half of the rent

Rent is so cheap here for about $350 you can find really nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments. For half the rent I mean.

Yeah, my basic necessities are only around 500 or so a month for everything. Luckily.

Well, I live in Bellefontaine Ohio, but there's no public transportation here. I found some awesome places in Dayton for 650-800.

I need public transport unless my home has changed its mind and will now allow blind girls to drive

I have an empty house in Melbourne - empty apart from cats, that is - currently being looked after by neighbours.

Not sure if you want to move THAT far.

Australia?

The only place I've ever considered in the Out Back is Coober Pedy. It's a jewelry maker's dream.
