To be a Republican on the national level here, you must basically do the following:

-Be very wealthy (granted, Dems. have too as well)

-Take anal from lobbyists and corporations, lest they release their load on you... a massive influx of money to your opponents in the primaries to destroy you. (again, Dems. do too quite often)

-Support the goals corporations and lobbyists to the demonstrable detriment of the American people.

-Rage about Obama on every possible topic because he's a.... a... a [strike]black guy[/strike] communist, socialist, Muslim antichrist, with the mission to destroy America, or worse, Christianity!!!111

And I don't even like Obama, because he's often as bad as the rest of the corporate-worshipping politicians.
