It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Godisgood: we also have Rules about necroposting.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Why would it need to be anything else?  Religion is the most lucrative scam in history.  Even in running a casino there is always a chance that the sucker may win once in a while.  Religion has never any need to pay off at all.

Ill tell you. Its not something that says that everything came from nothing and that the universe just popped into existence from nothing, a scientific impossiblity. Or that the universe is eternal, also something that is scientifically impossible.

Maybe the point is to weed out the posers who know dick about evolution and science, but can't shut up about it.  Working pretty good here.

I don't think you understand what makes something a scientific impossibility.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Recently, I have been asking myself: what is the point of Creationism?

Apart from being an obvious con that lets people like Ken Ham or Ray Comfort live on other people's ignorance, that is.

The thought of deluded people still believing that what was told by a tribe of goat herders 4000 years ago and trying to push this shit on their peers does really make me sad and makes me want to punch Ken Hams and Ray Comforts in the nuts.

Of course, it's quite likely they might actually be greedy, deep-undercover atheist conmen.
But what if the reason why they try to push creationism and ignorance was that they are "atheists gone wrong"? By that, I mean they were originally brought up in a strict religious environment but eventually grew out of their beliefs; still, they didn't find a positive outcome for their atheism and started to advocate their old beliefs in order to keep themselves sane and to prevent other people in their cult from following their steps. Essentially, I'm saying that they are people who tried to think with their own heads, but who failed to face the consequences.

I know this might sound a lot like a conspiracy theory but I believe that something interesting could spark from this... What do you guys think? :-)

I would not call it a conspiracy because most humans get sold the religion of their parents from birth. That is worldwide with all religions.

Having said that, humans don't like their social norms upset, and you have basically two camps, the ones who don't like being corrected, but truly believe the claims of antiquity and will try to retrofit modern science after the fact, then there are the con artists who know better but don't give a shit.

BELIEVE ME, this is not unique to Christianity. You will find members and apologists in every religion worldwide, that when they cant get away with quoting their writings or leaders they will attack science. But, when they cant get away with attacking science, then they resort to trying to claim science points to their club.

BUT, every religion in the world has members and apologists who try those tactics.

The only thing that can be said about our entire species, in the history of all written religions, is humans get sold a story and it is hard for most to scrap it because they get sold the story when they are too young to formulate critical thinking skills.

DO THIS to see what I am talking about....

Google the following.

"Christian science"
"Jewish science"
"Hindu science"
"Muslim science"
"Buddhist science"

You will find apologists in every religion. Ones whom will either try to attack science, or try to claim it points to their writings/clubs.

And yet, ignorant morons like you who know nothing about the Big Bang Theory -which far from suggesting that everything came from nothing as creatard idiots insist actually states that all matter in the universe was compressed into a single initial singularity.  In other words, not "nothing" but "everything."

But let's look at what you jackasses profess to believe.

Quote:In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen. 1

Now THAT is an example of creation from nothing.

Nonetheless, I do understand how one of your limited intellect would prefer the idea that your god waved his dick around and here we are.  Nothing you have said has indicated any ability to comprehend anything more complex.  Maybe it is best if you just stick to your bible and leave the heavy thinking to those who can handle it?

Actually all they above are possible and your claims are just that claims  . And once again your attaching unrelated  idea's  to each other .

And even if they were your idea still isn't an actual alternative . So argument from ignorance once again . And god of the gaps .
