When Joseph Stalin ruled Russia, many Christians were sent to Gulags or killed for their belief. I would hardly call that peaceful.

Of course, the study is not talking about the actions of a half or three quarters' century ago. The study is talking about the actions of the here and now. If it's any consolation, Russia is the ninth least peaceful nation.
