I never did understand the expression a metric shit ton.
After all a ton is an English unit of measure, so how does the term metric relate? Additionally, why "shit" ton? A ton is a ton is a ton - so why the expression 'shit ton' ??

For the same way it's a 'fuck ton'. Basically the same thing as a 'crap load'. Ultimately, it means there's much much in the muchness (or manyness), and an expletive is thrown in for purpose of exaggeration.

All atheists around here? the majority go with roughly the same definition of what an atheist is: someone who has no belief in any god.

No, some people thinks atheism is all about satan worship, enjoying sinning, ignoring god/gods on purpose so we can sin, eating babies, losing morality and various other things.

I believe God answers people's prayers through life's circumstances.

Delusion can speak volumes to the willfully malleable. The problem is that logic dictates there is no discernible difference between god answering the prayer and life merely happening on its own course without any divine intervention. Where the reasonable person sees life progressing naturally, theists prefer to unreasonably attribute every mundane circumstance to an invisible sky daddy.
