Member Awards 2009 - RESULTS!
7 days ago, you voted for who you thought was the Best Member, Best Poster, Best Debater, Best Theist, Funniest Member, Most Opinionated, and Weirdest Member of 2009. Now, the votes had been counted and I can reveal the winners and runners up of each category.
Best Member This was a close race from the start, and it was surprising to see only 4 people being voted for. Each one of them ha evidently won the forum over in some way! Thanks for all the votes people; I won't bore you with a long-winded speech 
Another close race, but with many more candidates this time.
So close we ended up with 3 winners! Congrats to them all!
I don't think there was any doubt who this would go to in the end, but it was close nonetheless.
Not close by a long shot. Dotard was the clear winner, and continues to provide us with entertaining posts and videos.
A tie between someone who thinks Jesus never existed in the first place, someone who could type for Britain, and someone whose middle name is "conspiracy theorist". Without your highly opinionated posts, we wouldn't have half as much fun on the forums. Disagreements are key to this place existing!
Although I suspect fr0d0 got votes for being one of those "weird" Christians who accepts Evolution and science, Saerules was the winner overall. Weird for her posts, her addiction to the kudos system, and her earlier insistence that 0.0r1 was a real number (although she assures me this phase is over), Saerules has provided us with many times of sheer confusion, and we love her for it!
Well done to everyone who got votes. For those who didn't get any, next year looms ahead...and maybe we'll have prizes next time (don't count on it though!). So, try to win the hearts of the community, write great posts, hone your debating skills, become a theist and be rational at the same time, write something funny, rant and rave about everything under the sun, and make sure you do all that in the weirdest way possible, preferably with chickens attached to your knees!
