Why does it feel good to be a gangster ? Is it because being nice brings up more trouble than being bad ?

Well I was depressed quite often. Worrying too much about it will only make things worse, searching for slow improvement is the best thing you can do to make yourself happier. Just don't go out there thinking you have to suddenly become happy... Do things slow, connect with people that feel alike, meet people with similar interests, invest in an hobby you find interesting. For me I was unhappy and slowly got into the middle, kinda like between unhappiness and happiness, I was not happy but definitely was better, I started hanging out with my friends more and created deeper bonds with a lot of people that I still treasure today... The biggest marks in making me happier were probably, even though I can't remember the chronological order, 1 - entering the best public university in law studies 2- I started dating my girlfriend and we still are together and in love 3- I started to value small things and lowered my expectations, there are people so worse than me out there.

If your two main activities are sleeping and sitting in front of your computer, you need to get out the door and get some sunshine and regular exercise. An hour's walk each day can do wonders for your sense of malaise. And who knows? You might meet interesting people and feel less lonely/bored.
