Something unnatural about it all.

Care to explain the bolded statement or is it just something you feel?

When you look at a field of flowers, they look beautiful.
Nothing in nature is perfect lines, squares, circles, etc.

Humans create ordered structures.
So when one "thing" is out of place in an artificially structured display, it just plays on my mind, that's all.

Don't read anything profound in my original comment. I love true nature.
Warts and all! In fact, it's the "warts" which makes it natural.

I read somewhere that if you wash your hands 50 times a day, sort all your clothes and shoes according to colour/style/season, never step on white floor tiles, and eat ice cream only on Thursdays during a full moon, you can cure OCD.

RE: OCD nightmares
Another dumb question time!

Do all extreme ocd sufferers have really neat handwriting?
I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't because the condition itself has infinite manifestations.... Just curious.

On a side note I thunked about before, what do we call man's obsession trying to find meaning in prime numbers, etc.
Aren't we always trying to find order out of chaos? Isn't that how science progresses?

No. So many people think that but it's not true. You don't have rectangular feet. Once you wear your socks the first time, they form to your feet. When you then wear them on the wrong feet next time, you'll have this little empty flap above your littlest toes that was stretched further last time when it was over your big toe. I hate the way it feels so much that I can't even stand to look at someone with their socks on wrong because then I keep imagining how it must feel. If your the kind of person who wears your socks on the wrong feet, be prepared when visiting my house. You can either keep your shoes on or take your socks off.
