Ronald, 6 letters

Wilson, 6 letters

Reagan, 6 letters

And he wasn't big on church going either, not that any of the Christers at the time paid it any mind.

It's simple, all prophecies are fake and forged. Most religious prophecies, from the bible or any other holy book, are written in a manner that could apply to various situations, therefore religious people like to quote them pretty often to explain past or future events. Christians have been claiming occurrences of prophecies for years, heck I think some religious people have been waiting for judgement day since the dawn of time... I call irrationality on all of that, even if a prophecy genuinely fulfilled itself there is no evidence that the real life event (that corresponds to the prophecy) happened because of the said prophecy. It's just a complex of superstitious concepts and previsions that have no place in a rational mind. I hope this helped you debunk it. And by the way, the part of god returning to earth is something that is supposed to have happened many centuries ago according to some people.

If I haven't welcomed you yet, then Welcome

Maybe he's an Allah's Witness?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Your friend is wrong about the timing of his "prophecies".
There very well could be peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, the Koreas, or wherever in the world - but it will only be a truce. According to the last book in the Bible, there will eventually be a "real" peace brought about by a man known to Christians as "the antichrist", "the beast", "666" and a few other names. In the beginning, this man will be real nice and solve all of the world's problems. Eventually, he will become a dictator.
Your friend probably believes in a doctrine known as the Pre-Trib Rapture, where "Christians" will be whisked away. This is a false doctrine that people have made up to avoid the persecution and death prophesized to come.
First, this dictator must arrive on the scene. Then a few years later, WWIII happens, and when mankind is on the brink of annihilation, THEN Jesus Christ will return.
Since you, and most of the people on this site, don't believe any of this, that's fine. It will not try to convince you that this will happen - but you should at least be aware of this scenario.

Do you spend much time making yourself aware of how all the other books you might not have read end? Hell, you could have at least put a spoiler alert on your post - for those of us that like a little suspense with our apocalyptic fiction.

-You- should be aware that telling other people that they -should- be aware of your ridiculous religion is incredibly irritating. I'd rather that no one was aware of the contents of your bedtime stories, personally.

Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

I don't have time for all the infinite conceivable fantasy scenarios of infinitesimally probability. Why would I find this scenario worthy of prioritizing in my awareness over a infinite number of comparatively less unlikely, but still overwhelmingly unlikely, scenarios that could be conceived?

By pointing out bible has been so wrong so comprehensively that one has as good a, if not better, chance of gaining insight into future events by divination from the shapes of the dung of jackasses than by reading prophecies from the bible.

Christians of various stripes have been 'making us aware of this scenario' for centuries now. It's never quite as close to fulfillment as they seem to think.

the bible says lots of things...if you're an atheist, you should have already know it's all BS.
Why do you need a second opinion?
No God, No fear.
