I felt a bit nauseous and had to have a break before watching the rest. I've never felt so much pity as I did watching those kids have their lives ruined by adults that should know better. The most staggering example of child abuse I will ever see.
I would like to hear anyone try and tell me this type of brain washing is a good thing.
Think I'm going to have a couple of whiskeys before watching the rest. Sick.

Probably one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen put to film.

Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

I heard they deleted the Ted Haggard bits that were in it following his gay sex scandal... Is that true?

I haven't watched it beyond the trailer. That was enough for me.

Targeting children for that sort of bullshit is child abuse, plain and simple.

For sheer morbid curiosity, I attempted to view the documentary one more time (I had seen it in the past). I honestly could NOT get past the first 10 minutes. Sickening!

My 'favorite' moment of the movie was when the ghoul who runs the camp asserted passionately that they are not a political organization and do not encourage a certain type of political thought....and then the very next shot is her literally bringing out a cardboard cutout of President Bush and having the kids bow to and pray to and thank it.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

All I see is fucked-up, messed-up, judgmental adults with their own problems (obesity and hypocrisy - respectively) pointing their judgmental fingers at frightened, crying children.

I have the DVD, and it was released after Ted Haggard's scandal, and I can safely say that not only did they not remove the Ted Haggard footage, they put more in the deleted scenes.
