The bible is....

Poll: The bible is...
An interesting work of fantasy fiction with some horror, the horror being particulalry in the old testament.
An Interesting book but ONLY because it should only be used by atheists to quote all the nonsensical contradicitons in it to theists.

The word of God despite the" few" contradicitons made by the authors..
The word of God despite all the contradictions.
The word of God and there are ZERO contradicitons in it.
I don't have to understand the bible! I just have to know the basics and know that simply because it says in the bible that God exists he MUST exist!

I much prefer Sci Fi than fantasy + horror though.

Trust me EVF, I'm at the end of Numbers and I can tell you the Bible is *not* interesting fiction. Ever tried reading a dozen chapters on animal sacrifice? I never thought gore could get boring so quickly. Also there are many chapters on how to make curtains etc etc. Talk about priorities Confused

Well I find it very boring. Can't get though a whole page of it without feeling too bored to read any further.
But its interesting considering the original is over 2000 years old and that a lot of people actually believe the bullshit in it.
Very boring things can be very interesting. Not interesting because they're the opposite of boring. Interesting because of how people actually like this boring shit and because its so old.
I'm interesting in the BELIEFS within in. The memes in it. Its not interesting as in entertaining. Certainly not.
