Christians. Could you be wrong?

Is the Odyssey evidence of the existence of Zeus and Helios? It is 100% equal to the Bible in terms of external proof of its veracity. Do the Vedas prove the existence of Brahma and Vishnu? Not only are these works just as verifiable as the Bible, the Vedas predate the Pentateuch by many centuries. The reason you don't think the Qu'ran is good enough is because you weren't raised in Islamic culture.

It's not good enough evidence for us because it's not evidence of anything, except that someone wrote shit down and said it happened. You were raised in a culture that largely believes it's true and that's why you do. It is also a culture that is antagonistic towards anyone who doesn't. That leads to crippling cognitive bias and leads you to actually say ridiculous shit like:

I'm so confused now.
Just watched about 3 hours of QM, string theory, brane's, super particles(sparticles),
11 dimensions, gravitrons, etc.

It's now a lot fucking easier to "just" believe that goddidit!
All string theory is unfalsifiable, but it does have one thing only for it.
The maths and no magic needed.
(In my paranioa, I feel we are hitting the borders of the virtual sandbox we perceive to live in. Again, unfalsifiable.

Believe what you want, just don't hurt the person next to you "because" of your belief.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Christians. Could you be wrong?

Well, the Protestants are sure the Catholics are wrong and vice versa. And together they know the Mormons are wrong.

So, obviously, they can all entertain the idea of Christians being wrong.

I didn't post but two or three posts in my first four years. I didn't realize there was a monthly or weekly average we had to maintain. What is it, so that I may avoid running afoul of this rule?

Whateverist,
pride is an exaggerated (false) view of one's self.
The devil's downfall was pride.

It is not prideful to have absolute knowledge.
You have that about your own name.
Does that make you proud?

I am NOT from the generation brainwashed in relativism, as you might discern.
So, for me, up is never down, east is never west.

Right on time, the intergalactic man of mystery excuse. Why doesn't God schedule a pay-per-view event to show off his countenance? Since he unable and/or unwilling to provide enough food for everyone, I'm sure the fundraiser will cover the bill and have enough to build his stupid boat in Kentucky.

Begging the question is no answer. Claiming a flower is proof of god(s) is akin to claiming a nautilus is proof of Cthulu.

Imagine you had a kid, and you went to ridiculous lengths to ensure that this kid never saw you, heard your voice, felt your touch or smelled your beer farts. You communicate to this kid through so many layers of people that most of them can't agree on almost anything about you. Through this immensely-layered proxy, you demand that this child love you, and inform them that they have no right to expect anything in return for it because they're terrible and wicked and deserve nothing but death. They ask why they can't see you, and you that the only way that they can really love you is to never be sure you actually exist. If you were sure, that would fuck everything up for no sensible reason whatsoever, but they had better still love you, because you'll torture them forever if they don't. And maybe you'll kill them anyway, if you feel like it, because you have the right to do so.

Or, you don't have to imagine and you can just become a Christian.
