No, I'm saying that to "equate disease and sickness with demon possession," as you said, means that all cases of disease and sickness are caused by demon possession, and all cases of demon possession result in disease and sickness. That's what equate means. If that's not what you meant, just say so - but quit blaming me for taking you at your word.
