Playing Reality like a Video Game?

RE: Playing Reality like a Video Game?
If life is a video game can I start over? If so I will take a little time on character design next time.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

RE: Playing Reality like a Video Game?
Personally, I have no problem with playing reality like a video game. I used to spend my holidays in Rome, watching gorillas throw barrels at Italian plumbers.

But, no - the OP in no wise supports intelligent design. The purpose of Einstein's thought experiments wasn't to show that time is illusory, but that it isn't absolute under certain conditions. On a gross and local scale, time is clearly uniformly progressive, so to posit this as a potential support for ID is just desperate.

I don't know if anyone did actually take a look at the link I posted earlier. I think it's relevant and it is interesting with regard to what Genovese and colleagues have demonstrated.

"The experiment shows that what we perceive as the passage of time might emerge from the strange property of quantum entanglement. The finding could assist in solving the long-standing problem of how to unify modern physics."

Interested in your thoughts.
