Personally I'm not looking to define a code or law for myself. We already have the law of the land for guidance. Why should I look for yet another barrier to my ability to act spontaneously and with empathy in the world?

I'll leave that to the OCD driven among us like yourself, Harris. Personally, I've managed to win my trust. I don't need a set of operation instructions for getting through my day. I always thought that was sort of the point of being alive.

on the surface this fine, very great. But when we really begin to dissect it is when the trouble shows. You have convinced yourself that yours is the way to be? "rules" as a barrier to spontaneity and empathy? You don't need to be told not to steal so nobody needs to be told not to steal? we are not ocd at all. Not self indulgent in any way at all. Me and you are the good guys for no christ sake.

Do you believe in the salt water miracle?
Didn't Muhammad recommend camel urine, dipping flies? Didn't he say that blood letting, the black seed and exorcism?
Adam was a giant?

(And just curious) do you believe in a geocentric model? Is the kaaba the centre?

And what's with Muhammad and number 3? I'm starting to feel that he had OCD or something?

Disclaimer: I'm assuming you are a Sunni

Quote:Do not forget that atheism is a tenet of communism.

In communism, you are taught to regard the state as the greatest good, as the source of all help and wisdom. You regard the community as the highest moral good.

If you believe in God, that is outside the state-controlled community, outside the system, and that makes you harder to control!

Not outside the system, just controlled by a different man made system. Spread via man made efforts and translations of books which god forgot to provide translations of himself.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

And I blame you for making unsupported accusations while ignoring how little accountability actually is provided to the religious scum bags who go on doing the same shit everyone else does even while trying to scare themselves straight with thoughts of hell fire.

Oh, and I also blame you for frying Losty's computer with your overly magnus opus.
