Daystar if you say you need to treat scripture as fiction when discussing it with us, why don't you? You're not doing that!
What you're doing is preaching what you think is the 'truth' of the bible. You're just disguising the preaching by being more metaphorical rather than just being literal and proclaiming that us atheists are all going to go to hell.
Please be consistent with your interpretations. And also be more consistent with treating it as fiction/treating it as non fiction! If you say you need to treat it as fiction, then do that please. Instead of preaching.
