The Newly Departed thread: announcements (departures)
RE: The Newly Departed thread: announcements (departures)
Hmmm.... 😕
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Good call. Make the email address be a string of random letters lol.

Posting here is detrimental to his mental health but he has a very strong compulsion to keep posting here. Thats the problem. Rlyeh doesn't make a difference.

Just ban me... lol

They won't ban you. There are no exceptions. Use a different email provider.

Which is why I don't buy these "just ban me" pleas. If he really had a strong compulsion, banning him would just result in him creating a sock account, which we'd ban, over and over. He has self control, he should use it and click "logout" and not return.

You are right. No need to make excuses.

How about when you feel like logging in to AF, that's your cue to get out of the house and go take a walk. Smile

I think that if your life is lacking in a certain area, you might be more tempted to spend too much time online or on social media. The key is to find something healthy to do offline so when you’re not on here, your time is being used in a positive way. So maybe reflect a little MK, and see if you’re bored or unhappy in some way and looking for online time to fill a void.
