RE: The Newly Departed thread: announcements (departures)

In relation to the thread title, I just wanna say I'll be less active here for a while. Nothing against AF, I just have a lot going on personally (not bad stuff tho) and also, a newfound obsession with a certain TV show is stealing much of my free-time. (and some of my non-free time too. *sigh*) I also felt that the vibe here has changed due to the recent drama and decided to take, not exactly a break, but just to take it easy for a while. Seems like a good decision so far, lol.
That being said, the drama still lingers, apparently. Waiting this one out.

That's all I'm going to say about it because I don't want that particular drama coming back over here. I just wanted anyone who missed Val to know who to thank for her absence.
I wanna make it clear that I like Val and said as much on the thread. I don't think the posts I made about this situation (which I won't repeat here) qualify as doxing at all.

I really hope she comes back after that horrible thread but I don't know if she will It was all so unnecessary.

You also made several statements that made it clear that you agreed with Captain. I agree, though. You didn't personally participate in the attempt to dox her.

No no it has finally been derailed with cheese pictures! Let's not add to the chaos.

It will not be added to here. The main participants are not coming back here, so there's no reason to carry on. If people want to know why their friend is missing, they won't find the reason here.

You are correct, I gave my thoughts on the issue. There was one particular rumor going around though that I warned people against, since it could be false.
Anyway, I agree with you that we shouldn't be bringing this here. I just wanted to clarify about the doxing bit.
