There should be no such thing as a Christian child, just a child of Christian parents. Then let them make their own mind up about which religion, or not, they want to follow.

..So you believe we should let our children 'free range'/do what they want till when? They start public school and they are indoctrinated by the goverment/public school system? What if the schools are teaching something crazy like it's ok to kill babies if they are young enough, and it is ok to poke other boys in the but-toll, but only if they say it is ok?

Because leaving our children to be educated by the state in all things, always turns out well.

A parents job is NOT to pre-indoctrinate the child for fear of later indoctrination, as a parent we should just teach them to approach everything logically and skeptically.

Teach them to question instead of serving the answer on a silver platter.
