Or as Frank Zappa said in "dumb all over":

God knows what he's doin'
He wrote this book here
An' the book says:
He made us all to be just like him,"
So...
If we're dumb...
Then God is dumb...
(an' maybe even a little ugly on the side)

Satan himself puts the disease in a person and then through false ministers, takes the disease out. That is the reason Satan cannot heal amputees.

God, on the other hand, can do anything - grow limbs, bring a person back from dead, etc. This is only possible if you give yourself completely to Lord Jesus Christ.

Do me a favor, take 15mg of dextro-amphetamine, sit tight for 2 hours and then re-read your post. It will sound utterly retarded. Like, imagine asking out a girl you like, and she reads that post...will she want to have "Christian" babies?

Let me know when God starts regrowing limbs. That would be something.

What leap of Faith is there in seeing a limb grow back?

And would that matter to you? Would you drop to your knees and worship the Almighty if you saw a limb grow back? No, you would just attribute it to some unnatural phenomenon that hasn't been discovered yet in the universe..... or justify it in any way that excludes God.

All that God promises us is to send "The Comforter" if we seek Him to.

Obviously you atheists haven't figured out yet, that Faith and Trust are the key ingredients in our salvation. When you have God, you have ALL you need.

You're right that I wouldn't instantly attribute it to god or an unnatural phenomenon of any kind.. Nothing is ever discovered by simply saying: god did it. One might as well just say it's magic when confronting anything new. Most modern tech would look like magic in the bronze age or even the 1400s.

However, if growing limbs were a thing not done by doctors or scientists, but only by believers and the believers were willing to document the before and after and allow magicians and other experts to evaluate the regrowth to see that it wasn't slight of hand or new medication, yes I might really begin to believe in some kind of supernatural being. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it created the universe though.

emphasis mine

I certainly understand that you ronedee believe salvation requires faith and trust. I just don't see that there's any rational basis for belief or trust in god, or of life after death in any form. And I notice that other people who also don't have any rational basis for their beliefs, believe just as strongly as you do in other gods, or supernatural systems which directly contradict yours. So I surmise that spiritual sight is unreliable.

Quote:When you have God, you have ALL you need.

I've heard that said. I've yet to meet a Christian who was quite that satisfied with life. Scratch the surface and there tends to be a lot of angry, unhappy, worried, Christians---much like the rest of the population.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Is that how the bishops get the altar boys to bend over?

So - then let us see your EXAMPLE of an Amputee healed by the Lord.
The IDEA that in all of time - NO amputee was ever worthy of it - makes the idea of salvation pretty much nonsense.

Yet - it has NEVER happened in recorded history - which then begs the question - YOU claim the christ CAN do it -
So - show an example that can be traced back to the christ actions!

Of course - you would need to prove the that christ actually lived first - something YOU cannot even do - because apparently the main thing that gods cannot do is provide proof of their existence - and that alone proves that your claim of ALMIGHT gods is nonsense
