Obesity: five facts

RE: Obesity: five facts
Right and how is that of any help to other people? So if you published a book let's say and claimed that others who followed what you did would loose weight and get in shape, and it transpired that around 94% of people who bought your book did not loose any weight long-term, who's fault would that be? Would it be their fault for not following your advice properly and sticking it out, or would it be your fault for not providing a product that could deliver on its promise?

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

But lets face it, do most obese people follow any advice, no matter where it comes from ?.

Yes they do and the advice doesn't work - or it does work, but only short term.

Jenny Craig is a program where the customers have a meal plan designed for them by qualified nutritionists; and still it does not work long-term. It only works short term, and then they will regain the weight.

The advice has an incredibly strong opponent. Nature. UK radio was discussing routine stomach ties this last week to combat the much more expensive resultant effects of diabetes and heart complaints, for example.
