We're hyper sensitive about our kids (relative to, say....a cat) because we have to be? That's where I'd put my money. If we weren't, we probably wouldn't be here to ask the question - or at least there would be far fewer human beings around to ever get to that question...on the spectrum of possible questions a successful species might one day ask itself?
I know that there's really no difference between shooting twelve adults or twelve children. Neither will be able to defend themselves any more succesffully than the other group, both will end up equally as dead, and both are equally human beings. Doesn't matter...can't help but feel seething disgust. I think it's a feature, not a bug.

I just don't feel any disgust when I hear about murders. I just feel a bit of admiration for the columbine shooters tbh. They seem like cool guys with good taste in overcoats and industrial music (Dylan was a KMFDM fan). Just their demeanor in the things I have seen comes off as people who I can relate to.

I don't really feel pity. I feel sad for them. Sad that they obviously had hard lives and pity that they were such pathetic cowards that they had to kill so many people as a means to make themselves feel important before they died. It's sad and pathetic. There's nothing to admire in what they did.

I would admire if they did that killing... with their fists, amidst a gang of streetfighters. Cowards be what cowards are.

Admiration?...This is greatly disturbing...you have to purify yourself I think. This all from the darkness and you should do away with it with goodness/light.

Those are your words. You're hateful and resentful and you think if things are not the way you like them that there's a problem with other people. Honestly it's not hard to see why you're so eager to defend school shooters, you probably thought about being one yourself many times to cure you of your small penis syndrome. You just can't stand the fact that people think you're not very important.

I don't see children being better than adults also, but even if its an old age peoples home being shot up, its still not good.

If you haven't sought psychological help, please do. I'm not trying to be insulting or anything; I mean this in kind sincerity. You need to start working through your problems before we read about you in Yahoo's News.
