I might try some of the body weight crossfit stuff, but I am working towards the gymnastic workout program.

I agree, it's easy to get injured if rushing through a series of exercises, it's most important to get your form down before increasing weight too. Many sadly don't follow that simple rule. Undecided

It happens. People who don't know what they're doing will try to hit the time goals and seriously injure themselves. It's dumb. You're going to get a much better workout if you do the exercises correctly. Ego+crossfit is a bad combo...

If you want to try a bodyweight WOD, try this:

Barbara:
20 Hand Stand Pushups
30 Hand Release Pushups
40 Sit Ups
50 Air Squats (Ass to Calf)

5 sets. Try to get close to 20 mins.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I had an argument with a personal trainer at a gym once. He asked what exercises I wanted to do.

I said I'll start off with the treadmill, crosstrainer, and the bikes. But I won't do the rowing machine because I hate it.

He said, "Okay, but I'll schedule you 10 minutes on the rower."

"No, I won't do the rower. I hate it and won't do it."

"Alright, but I think you'll benefit from 5 minutes, at least on the rower, and you'll get used to it."

"What part of 'not doing the rower' isn't clear to you?"

I ended up telling him to go and bug someone else and send me another personal trainer who will listen to the person paying the bills.
