Theodicy and kicking the can

When something obviously evil occurs, my Christian friends respond very knowingly that we have free will so god had nothing to do with the murder of innocent children. They never go further and question why we have free will in the first place.

We havve no free will. Romans 11, why didn't the Jews believe in Jesus? God hardened their hearts no to. Since free will does not matter to God, why not make all men believers? See Romans 8 and 9. God decides who will be elect and reprobate.

Predestination, from the beginning of time God decided these things. What free will. Augustine, Martin Luther, Calvin and others admitted we have no free will, see Luther's Bondage of the Will for an excellent example of this.

How do these theologians deal with this? Admit God is responsible for moral evil? No, the claim God is inscrutable and incomprehensible. So logic, reason and rationality are abandoned, following Paul's example in Romans 11:33.

11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

When logic destroys your theology, just stop being rational. This irrationality then is the heart and soul of Christianity. Islam is just as bad.

That explains Luther's stance that reason is the greatest enemy of faith.

Luther was a bundle of joy in pretty much every aspect of life. Hating jews, condemning the peasants rising up against their masters and finally, to give his character his well earned due, convinced you can chase away the devil by farting at him.

why its dying here in the U.S. lets name the variables.
Logic, Reason, Intelligence, Education, Will to learn, Ignorance is on a downward spiral, Secularism is gaining more ground, Christianity loosing ground, People are starting to realize religion is a tool of control,
faith who needs that its ignorant to have it, and finally no apologetic answer holds any weight of its own when it comes to a scientific answer.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.
