These actions will breed more terrorists than they stop.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Many of those were innocent people, not every one knew info, so what did they tell their interrogators? Answer, anything to stop the pain.

Like downbeatplum says These actions will breed more terrorists than they stop. I think that is correct. I am forced to wonder if our government might actually want more terrorists so they can justify Homeland security spending, which in turn takes away our liberties more and more, but that is just my paranoia talking.

Borowitz.

Quote:WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) blasted his Democratic colleagues in the Senate on Thursday, telling reporters, “I’m sick and tired of people blaming George W. Bush for things he did.”

In the aftermath of the release of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on torture, Cruz said, “Democrats have been busy with their favorite game again: bringing up catastrophic things that President Bush did and then blaming him for them.”

Quote:MOSCOW — Often castigated by the United States over its record on human rights, democracy and civil liberties, Russia on Thursday seized on the Senate Intelligence Committee report on the use of torture by the C.I.A. to turn the tables on Washington and demand that those responsible be brought to justice.

The Russian government, in a statement posted on the Foreign Ministry’s website, said the report provided “confirmation of gross, systemic human rights violations by the American authorities.”

I guess they don't watch FOX.

Interesting CNN article about the Torture report.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/11/politics/e...?hpt=hp_t2

Watch the video in embedded in the article if you can, it is almost comical watching this guy trying circumvent his non disclosure agreement with the federal government.

RE: Torture report
I'm sure FOX would regard violation of a non-disclosure agreement as a much worse crime that torture. They've made that abundantly clear.

Welcome to the new 'Murrica. We don't mind being hypocritical bastards but you hurt our feelings if you call us that.

No. It's the "Blame America First" shitballs like you who side with terrorists and defame your own country who are the problem.

So you don't think that any of this flows from our foreign policy of installing "friendly" governments or overthrowing hostile ones in the region?

You think our hands are clean?
