Man, did that feel strange when Kurt went to spy on the Warblers.... Erm anyways, I have to go rip out trees with my bare hands now for breakfast and then I'll shave with a broken whiskey bottle.... because I'm a man! Totes!

Oh yeah -- I love the movie When Harry Met Sally.

eta: But I've never watched Glee.

The music is an overproduced hell(*), and you have characters straight from the PC casting machine... Without Jane Lynch hamming her way through her satan-as-coach role it would have been unbearable in the 1st season

Really, in every other number I was thinking how great it would have been if they'd gone for an at least *somewhat* natural recording of the vocals

You should check out WHMS, then -- great jazz soundtrack, and lots of hilarious insights into relationships.

Idiotic comedic violence. I know that Three Stooges shorts are not cultural, not highbrow, and are not going to advance my life in any way, shape or form. But Curly get whacked with a giant spanner or Moe getting his head caught in a wine press is funny to me - every time.

My wife doesn't object to my watching these, as long as I do so with the door locked, the drapes closed, and I wash my hands afterwards.

Stooges are high art where I come from. With them you can always look at the one shaming you with a look of cultural condescension and just possibly shake their certainty.

True confessions I caught a movie on the tube about a college A Capella singing contest. Cardboard cut out character development. Predictable as hell plot. But -forgive me- I did enjoy it too much.

Romantic comedies! Also, Joel Rush - anything he's in. We have history. Angel
(hahaha, I hadn't googled him in awhile.....now there are nudie pics...priceless)

-every once and awhile these two lowbrow pursuits combine for their final form...and I lose my shit giggling and cracking jokes to the spouse for days thereafter.
