how to change from islam to atheist

RE: how to change from islam to atheist
Wow, thank you guys.
I really appreciate your replies.

First of all why i changed to atheist, the initial cause that made my brain think the other way is 'dogs'
Yes you read it correct.

I was so empathetic and i loved animals from my childhood. But i was never allowed or go near to a dog but cat.
I desperately need to raise a dog. And asked many people about. Why islam is forbidding the dogs.
Why is it cats okay, but dogs are not..
They gave many stupid answers..
But those wasnt enough for me.. And i had many arguments with friends. Finally i decided to serch on Internet.. Actually i didnt even.know when there are people that are atheists.
So i serched about dogs, then music and and i serched about everything they forbid.. And then it went to a higher level like 'which is the true religion'
(while serching this i was literally covering my head with my other hand, expecting a thunder will struck on head, and i was always looking out if there is any tsunami coming, because beach was near my home)
I had the courage, really my fingers were shaking while search 'mistakes in quran' and i found more than 1000.. Then it was a journey. I had many skills like, i can draw pictures, i can sing but i was not allowed to draw something that has life because islam forbids it, i never liked it as a child but there was no choice, so many do's and dont's.
And childrens over seven should be told to go to 5 times prayer and to children over 10 should be beaten if they dont do it, and childrens over 16 or something should be put to hunger.
This so i got beaten in different stages of my childhood. I couldn't blame.my parents because they are also taught like that.

One year ago i tottaly transformed into an atheist. When i was an atheist. I never knew there is sonething as atheism.. There are people like like me. I was i am the only one alone in this world that thinks like this, and it took a lot of courage.

Now only my mom and dad know i am atheist.
I am 19 years old now..

RE: how to change from islam to atheist
Now i hate islam..
I read quran and i know what is in it.
So if you guys need to know anything from it Just tell me ;-)
The more i read quran, the more nonsence it felt!
You cant blame terrorists for what they are doing this book have explanation for everything. Some people say quran is sacred and islam is sacred but people who using it are bad. The reality is quran made in an evil way. The evil in that book is hiding in the shades of love and kidness..
All the nice things in quran is a cover for the evil dominant face of islam.

For example if someone say islam is terror,
They can show the quran verses that says dont hurt children, killing one person is like killing humanity like that.
But there is also other verse that says, if someone say anything against islam, you should cut their through..
What the fuck is that?

There are many things inside the quran that most of the atheist dont know.
As an ex muslim.
I know everything about islam.
And thats why i hate it more than you guys do.
The more you know about it, the more you hate!

You are incredibly brave. Thank you for sharing your story. It will be of much benefit to not only the forum members but those who drop by just to read.

I know just what you mean. To me, it is so clear, and always has been, that all religions are ludicrous. Utterly insane. And now you're on the outside of it, you can see it for what it is. Religions are at best make believe, and at worst vile methods of control and justification for evil acts.

You're right, your parents have been indoctrinated just like everyone else. They are victims. When not only scolding but actual violence is used to "reinforce" belief, it is very easy for the brain to just delude itself into thinking it all makes sense. Especially at an early age, when you are still learning how to separate reality from fantasy. The fact that religion needs to bully children into believing it just shows that it makes no sense, and that it cannot rely on reason.

I hope your story will be an inspiration to others. It breaks my heart that you and so many others have been denied things, just because some stupid old book says so. If you ask a question and they have to tell you to shut up, hit you or talk nonsense, then it's clear you have poked a hole in it. And it's not hard to do, religion is held together with string and scotch tape.

I hope you can soon move to a free country. I am excited on your behalf at what it will be like for you! I think it will be like being released from a prison you didn't know you were in. Once you are a free citizen, all your fears about "being treated like a Muslim" will fade right away. You'll be able to do all those things that are "banned" instead of being stifled by maniacs who want to control you.

And in time, your fear of the wrath of Allah will fade as well, if it hasn't already. He's just another made up God, like the thousands before him. To make a point, you're not scared of any other God or hell right? Smile These are literally no different.

I am so sure that they are all fake that I call on all or any of them to strike me dead right now. They ain't gonna do shit because they're not there. It's only the zealots, thinking they are acting for Gods, that make anything happen in the real world.

Honestly if India has prejudice against non religious, and it affects your rights as a citizen(as being non religious affects my rights in my country) just leave your identity as a muslic, pretend to be a muslim and if anyone asks, allahou akbar. It's what I do. I hate religions with every fiber of my being, but I like my head over my shoulders alot more Tongue

Wait...what? Islam has a prohibition on mans best friend? Jesus fucking christ.....of all the pointless shit, never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be able to point at something like that and say:

"See? Nuff said."

Can I get some specificity on this prohibition, where is it? I think I'm going to go buy a quran and line my dogs pissing spot with it's pages. I noticed that there weren't as many dogs overseas (and that the natives seemed weird around ours - don't get me wrong...there were plenty..just not as many as I thought there would be in a shithole), but I always figured that was because they were eating them, and ours were ferreting out ieds and ripping jihadi asshole left right and center.....

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Bravo, Thanzi, and welcome.

I hope you're careful in making your atheism public if the Muslims around you are the fundamentalist sort.

Welcome, but I don't buy your transition from islam to atheism to signing up on this forum. Just curious - why didn't you seek explanation from other religion(s)? I can believe a christian to atheist, but islam to atheist is just too much for my tiny brain to comprehend. I hope you don't have a sudden "revelation" while on this forum, revert back to islam and use your "god given right" to convert others to islam.

Welcome again Smile
