No. You overestimate the gov't's ability to hide anything, and underestimate how easy it is for shitheads to cause problems. We can't even keep people wielding AK-47's out of our theaters.

What's the point of exploring "if" if it isn't feasible? You want to explore conspiracies withing Star Wars?

It is a possibility I consider more credible than having pinned it on whom we did, all because the U.S. was just itching for another war.

Dear anyone who thinks this shit was a conspiracy to get us into war:

Go fuck yourselves.

My father was in the Pentagon when all that shit went down. He works for the US gov't.

This wasn't a conspiracy, except in as far as a group of fucktards trained, hijacked some planes, then took out several thousand people. I should think it would be obvious that it's not hard for people who mean harm to cause a bunch of it since most people go about their business assuming other people aren't out to harm them...otherwise, do you think Sandy Hook would have happened? Or the attacks on the British subway?

Being Muslim doesn't make you less about to cook up a diabolical plan. Being American doesn't make you smart enough to create an X-Files level conspiracy.

Fuck off with this shit.

Which is, in itself, quite a big conspiracy! Surprised that's not interesting enough for people.

I'm from the UK too by the way, I heavily agree with what Abaris is saying, the amount of people who would have had to be involved in the conspiracy is too high.

A muslim in my work once tried to talk me into the fact that the planes were just created computer images, and I just said well how did they manage to talk the full city of New York into pretending they just saw 2 planes flying into buildings, not to mention the amateur footage and professional footage from more than one angle. It annoyed me because I heard one guy who seemed to be just agreeing with this guy for sake of not offending a Muslim, so I felt it was like a duty to vocally disagree.
I told him I'm not certain there wasn't something that the US government was doing in this situation that was underhanded, but CGI planes is just ridiculous, in one of the worlds most densely populated cities.

Other theories are more plausible than this, but not plausible enough for me to believe in personally.

Muslims have a motive to believe the conspiracy theories but then there's also the people who just want to believe any sort of conspiracy, especially when it's about government cover ups. Which I think actually distracts from the more obvious real underhanded things governments do which people could be focusing on.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

It's great isn't it. US and to a lesser but substantial degree UK politics are absurdly corrupt, with the wealthy elite buying politicians to pass laws which mean they get even richer at the expense of everyone else. Factor in the life cost of all the social deprivation, poverty, poor education, lack of healthcare etc this leads to millions of lives cut short so that the super rich can become hyper rich. But THAT conspiracy is largely ignored! 4000 dead in a terrorist attack? Drop in the fucking ocean.

Been watching too much Russell brand recently. Also, I paid more tax than fucking Starbucks last year.

Russel Brand takes the wrong clues from the right issues. But it's sure refreshing to watch someone not tap dancing around the fire but trying to put it out in some way.

I invite anyone who thinks it was faked to go to the Newseum in DC. They have an exhibit devoted to a photographer who died at the scene - photographs were recovered from his gear later. It's heart-rending, and terribly upsetting to view.
