Skrim races

RE: Skrim races
Yes I might try that in Oblivion and Morrowind once I get it working (for some dubious reason Morrowind runs at less FPS than Oblivion).

Khajits are a good choice IMO for stealth and assassin character.

I've never played as an Argnonian because they look less human, but some friends say the race totally rocks. Breathing underwater is also not necessary once I got spells for it
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

What race do you mainly play as and why?

Argonian is a personal favorite for Roleplay reasons... Scales-Castle-Walls, Strikes-From-Darkness, Flounders-in-Mud... Their naming ceremonies, and culture in general leave them as by far the most interesting race to play.

But then... there's always something to be said for a Bosmeri Vampire Witchhunter.

... From vanilla skyrim stats alone, the most powerful races are Orc and Altmer. Nothing else even comes close.... Other than an intentionally low-level Dunmer.

Archery is far less effective in Morrowind than Skyrim, FWIW. With Smithing, enchantments, and poision as options, you can make some truly devastating weapons.

I played a couple of Argonians in Skyrim - Kills-from-Shadows and Stole-your-Sweetroll :p

I'm pretty sure there might be mods to fix that. Oblivion had a terrible combat system as well (including archery) but I fixed it with deadly reflex (mod for combat)

Of course the Saxhleel don't look human... They're Hist-born!

Mods fix just about everything...

And yet, Kesh still loses you that Spellbreaker.

Can someone help me out - I'm trying to run Morrowind on my laptop and have low FPS, despite the fact I can run Oblivion on medium and Skyrim at low. Did anyone encounter the same problem and fixed it?

I'm using windows 7

I usually play a Breton thief. One of my daughters likes to play an Argonian

I mainly play as a Nord but has played Argonian, Imperial, Altmer.

It started as a Breton but eventually wanted to play Nord so I could say I'm from Skyrim (just the way I thought lol) been my preferance ever since.

As far as skill sets I lean more towards the path of Might , things like Smithing, two handed, Archery. But good magic skills to have are Restoration and Enchanting.

If I had to guess, I'd think that your laptop has both Intel integrated graphics and a dedicated Nvidia/AMD graphics card, and Morrowind is using the Intel graphics, and Oblivion and Skyrim are not. Morrowind is *far* less demanding in the graphics department.
