Plato's Parmenides
#1
Plato's Parmenides
When I read this today I wanted to tear my hair out as it seemed to me a lot of gibberish. Thankfully, after watching this video summary, it appears like I'm not alone; in fact, Plato apparently wrote it to be absurd and comical. Still, as much as it tortured me to read, it is a remarkable piece of philosophical genius. Wondering if anyone else has read it and would like to share their thoughts? The video is interesting too and is a good introduction to the dialogue even if you haven't read it (I almost wish I had listened to it first myself)
