RE: Fant4stic
I enjoyed the two previous ones, mostly because Chris Evans just nailed the personality of Johnny Storm. The villains were something of a letdown, though. Frankly, I'm tired of movie studios "rebooting" super-hero franchises after three films. If you need to re-cast, then do that. But don't start all over again.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Spider-man baffles me the most. I know the third installment got mixed reviews and I didn't care for it, but I thought it was a solid run overall. You aren't going to get a better Doc Ock and Spider-man in Spider-man 2 was near perfected. I understand the attempted reboots of the Hulk, if you can call them reboots.

I just want Marvel Studios to get the rights back to their characters. It's insane that they don't own some of their biggest characters: X-men, Spider-man, FF, Namor. Not to mention the large amount of characters that fall under each titles. Marvel went ahead and made Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy better movies than Spider-man and X-men; that's fucking nuts! I just think of what could have been if they were able to incorporate these titles into their phases.

Here's an info graphic of what they own and don't own. I'm not sure how current it is but I know they own Daredevil now.

Speaking of Daredevil- I love that they're giving their streetlevel heroes the Netflix treatment. It's yet to be seen how this pans out but I think it's smart.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue
