Doesn't her lawyer have some sort of legal obligation to just laugh in her face?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Suspect says Satan made him smash into Oklahoma Ten Commandments monument
Quote:U.S. Secret Service Agents say it all started after a man walked into the Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City Friday morning making strange threats against the President and Federal Government.

Agents say he then admitted to them that he crashed his car into the Ten Commandments monument at the Capitol, then left his damaged car and walked to the Federal Building.

The Secret Service says the man told them that Satan made him crash his car into the statue.

He also told agents that Satan told him to urinate on the statue.

Yeah, good for Satan. Clap

The only difference is, that guy will be given a mental evaluation and she won't.

I doubt hat Satan would need to do anything other than show them everything that's in the bible, and what people have done "for the lord" throughout history, and everyone would understand why rebelling was the most sensible thing to do.

I stand by my fan theory that if there ever was a good guy in charge of the universe, the evil guy has usurped him, and the followers just go along with it.

He was also a Christian. According to his mother.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Doesn't he know that lying is against the ten commandments that he just ran over? He defaced a christian monument, and lied about his reasons, just to make the non christians look bad.

Be nice when all you religionists learn to keep that shit to yourself.

What about the rights of Satanists who had a monument vandalized? Those people don't count?

Judges need to learn the concept of secularism. They should be the ones knowing it best. I'm going to be an asshole, and bet people who made this decision are Christian themselves

Worse yet, there's evidence against her. I don't favour Islam, but if a Muslim vandalized Christian structures he/she would almost certainly be pledged "guilty". Double standards for you

And we are supposed to believe in god and take religion seriously when childish occurrences like this happen all the time.

Since when do Christians take orders from Satan?
