Debating getting one of these this week. I had an original Model B not long after they were released due to a major Farnell outlet being just up the road from me. If it can run Rasbmc as fast as the Amazon Fire does i'll be very impressed!

My love built his own mini arcade, and is starting on a new one soon.
He ordered the old Raspberry Pi yesterday, because apparently he did not know about a new one.

He is sitting next to me ranting now. Funny thing is that he is the technology nerd, and I know nothing of it. So it was fun giving him this news :p
Thanks for posting!

I thought this was going to be a dessert thread.

RE: New Raspberry Pi released
I've always thought the Pi was a neat thing, and have almost bought one or two a couple of times.

But what would I do with it?

Cheap PC? Have plenty of those.

Router? DD-WRT on supported hardware is a far better solution.

Set top box? Practically every computing device I own, and media component, can stream directly from my media server.

Two DIY projects: controller for an automated home brewery - that would be cool. Gather telemetry from a near-space amateur balloon flight? Cool - but the power budget may not be sufficient.
