Why should people not see this film?

Because it is a lame 1970's British comedy fill with mash banger jokes and their version of slap stick.

The big irony is all of that is the core message of the movie simply trades what it defines as one sheeplessly mindless unknowable world view, for another one.
Are you sure you're using the word "irony" correctly? Also the so-called "core message of the movie" which is discussed in the videos I posted, and at other events with the Monty Python crew, is not to challenge the teachings of Jesus, but rather to challenge his followers, some of which in this movie have gone on to follow Brian instead of Jesus.

As for your comment regarding British humour and film-making, might I point out to you that the longest running successful movie franchise is British and that their comedy shows are shown in series of 6-8 episodes unlike American shows which flog the dead horse for a full 22 episodes per series. Granted that did work quite well for Seinfeld, but for others like the Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, etc, they are just nowhere near as good as they could be or as good as the comparable British versions were (e.g. Red Dwarf and Men Behaving Badly).

And I hear the Broadchurch remake was so bad people asked "why didn't they just show the critically acclaimed British original instead".

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

Let's not forget the terrible American Red Dwarf pilot, which got so bad that the original writers, Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, slipped their own version of the script under the cast's hotel room doors. The cast preferred it so much that the producers actually got them to vote on which one they wanted to do, the US one or the new one.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

This was the point I drew from the movie.

One problem with American comedy - and especially with remakes of British shows and movies - is that the lead has to always be a hunk/babe. That is not funny. Even in successful remakes - like "The Office" - it's a missed opportunity for humor. I mean - original "Office" had Bilbo Baggins as a romantic lead, for crying out loud! And it was beautiful AND funny AND easy to relate to.

I think there must be some kind of a broadcasting law in USA, requiring that - whatever the content - 99% of the time there must be someone f***-able on the screen...

Mostly everything here is cliche' it really pisses me off especially with action movies they are like love interests these two people hate each other and fall in love. Action movies do not need romance. Comedy movies the over use of slap stick and crude humor (some times funny in the appropriate situations) and overall the characters.. are so poorly written and are morons. It hit me after watching hot tub time machine and the hang over none of this is actually funny not at all.
