Thanks syn for telling me that Scandinavia which is a country not a county, is all atheist.

Based on the last census, to oversimplify, the urban areas are more secular than the rural areas, though most places still have a majority of (at least nominal) Catholics. I'll try to get a summary of the figures later.

In practice, even in areas where there are a large majority of Catholics, the Church has lost any moral authority that it seemed to have, largely due to the constant revelations of priests abusing children and bishops covering it up.

I remember hearing about this bill....However, I apologize for my ignorance in it's full details, so here is my question(s).

1. Was this bill voted on by the people, or was it submitted by some jackass political Rep that got it pushed through to the top?

2. If it was voted on by the people, were there a certain group/city/council within the Catholics that stood out more than the rest, if so, who were they?
Intelligence is the only true moral guide...

Ah yes. The same thing happened here in Oregon, or at least something along those lines. Bishops trying to cover it up hmmm, I'm not surprised by this at all!

And this donned on me today, years back when St. Paricks day was on a friday, the arch Bishop had pardoned the irish for having corned beef and cabbage that day.

American education?Devil

Quote:Scandinavia[1] is a region in northern Europe that includes at a minimum Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Finland is often considered a Scandinavian country in common English usage, and Iceland and the Faroe Islands are sometimes also included.[2]

Oh yes good old American education. I don't recall we learned that much about Europe. Except the wars that happened over there.
