Why marry?

I've never in my life come across an argument in favour of marriage.

Most arguments are emotion based and they don't take into account divorce and the horrors that go with it, for men at least.

There is absolutely no advantage in two people getting married. Nothing good can come from it. It doesn't improve anything, it doesn't change anything for the better.

I'm 99.9% certain that every single argument in favour of marriage can easily be torn apart.

A partner who's got your back and the approval of the society in which you reside.
You probably just never thought you needed or wanted that.

Haha lolz. I'd immediately call troll if some MRAs didn't think like that for realz (basically, the practical effect of Poe's Law is to undermine certainty in trolling). Either way, I'd recommend ignoring him.
