List doesn't include Mountain Meadows, that was a massacre, not a war.

Fucking goddam Mormons.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

If you check out the list of neo-con scumbags who signed this letter to Clinton in 1998

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info...le5527.htm

you'll see that a lot of them are jews.

Most went on to positions in the Bush administration which goes a long way to explaining why we are in such a fucking mess in the Middle East right now.

The UK Conservatives are hardly conservative in the grand scheme of things, especially when compared to the US Republicans. I think the best thing that Republicans could learn from the Conservatives would be moderation; you can be opposed to something without wanting to wipe it from the face of the planet. For example, the Conservatives are generally speaking opposed to welfare, however they are supporters of the NHS.

Which is why the republicunts consider them "socialists."

The GOP comes over as borderline theocratic fascist from a European point of view.

The Tories are supporters of the NHS? Only in the sense that they want to use it to make themselves lots of money out of sick people.

They're basically as big a bunch of cunts as the Republicans.

I've wondered the same thing myself. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that in the United States, we have never had a religious war?

Because even as Virginian aristocrats drank claret and mused about what enlightenment had shown, European aristocrats and monarchies were actually busy making life of religious yokel nut jabs uncomfortable, and forcing them over to the new world.

Seems the Democrats should learn from the UK conservatives.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

The problem we have, is that it's pander or don't get nominated.  On the left, the base doesn't have it's own candidates.  The NAACP isn't going to find a culturally black candidate for them to support.  Same with the hispanic population.  Whatever Dennis Kucinich represents exists, but whatever that is, doesn't have much clout.  With no candidates representing those groups, they can be ignored until it's time to drag them to the polls for the general election.  Meanwhile on the right, we've got the Tea Party and the Christians, and both can't wait to get their moron up on stage to support with their 50% of the republican vote.

I'm guessing whatever conservatives have going on in the UK, they don't have to deal with the same dynamic.
