"Hey gays, don't dress so gay"

RE: "Hey gays, don't dress so gay"
Hm. Yes, I see it mostly as a statement of his own taste. Of course, people in his position are probably a bit narcissistic and so he thinks that his opinion is important Smile
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition

All humans need a certain amount of attention, when we pop out of the womb if we didn't cry our parents wouldn't feed or change us..

I know that I give religion tons of shit, but I am with Ann Frank when she said that deep down we have goodness in all of us. It is when we grow older that we get infected with tribalism which leads to hate.

My "hate" isn't of labels, but bad logic. I don't think Haywood is a bad person, just like far too many humans, we can get stuck in a bubble and not look outside of that to see we are the same species.

This is not the thread you're looking for.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

I wish I had enough money to dress like a man. Instead I wear jeans a lot.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I only wear cargo-pants... it's the only way I can trust myself with phones in pockets.... well, phone, wallet, keys, usb-stick, pen, glasses cleaning cloth... and lots of paper from all the receipts I keep collecting... lots of pockets helps with the organization of all these things, while keeping the phone unscratched, wallet undamaged, pen secured and not dropping.
And I even keep the keys inside their own pouch which then goes in the pocket, but the car key is independent from this pouch...
It all stems from practicality and the fore-knowledge that if I don't carry all these things with me, I'll just forget to pick them up upon leaving any place where I may be seated.

I don't understand how people feel ok with carrying wallet, keys and phone in their hands, just because the jeans don't have proper pockets for carrying all those things...
Also, why not cargo-jeans? Never seen those...

Very occasionally people say to me, "Wow look at you, all colour coordinated!"

I look down sleepily, and say, "Oh yeah. So I am!"

Last time I checked my closet (1 hour ago) all I seen is T-shirts with various graphics (wolves, eagles, skulls) some jeans and shorts... hmm... I must be dressing too gay. Time to go get some camo gear and a hunting vest. HAHA. I have known some gay men that dress "Fem" but its just a personal style... 95% of my gay friends dress very 'manly" honestly you couldn't tell they were gay just walking down the street unless you knew them.

Wow... I guess I dress "butch" then because I haven't worn a dress in two years. Haven't worn high heels in about five years. I put on makeup maybe three times last year, if that.

I happily confess that I will go to the store in my pj's because I am not bothered by what other people think of me and I'm not out to impress anyone.

Good for you! I don't give a monkeys what people think either.

"That's lucky then, isn't it!" says my wife.

I'm not as bad as what you see on PoWM (People of WalMart) but I do wander around that store in pj's all the time. I also own a pair of blue camo lounge pants. Those are really comfy!
