By not thinking about it, same as every time a conservative position is found to have a flaw or contradiction. They'll deign to ad hoc their way around it if you bring it up, though; that's the bonus about having a position based entirely on fantasy, you can just imagine a solution out of anything.

Most likely they would use the excuse you wrote or claim that because god gave life he can do whatever he wants with it. That is the reason most aren't outraged that so many fertilized eggs are naturally aborted by our own bodies. Throw in a little helping of not being able to understand god and you have the perfect recipe for denial

In the minds of fundies, a fetus is alive when the first cell splits.  I am not sure that 2 cells have a soul yet so they don't care about a soul.

Their creed is "protect the fetus at all cost" but as soon as that fetus comes out of the womb, you better make sure it is born to rich parents other wise it is just another welfare baby.

I can't get my head around how precious life is inside the womb but lives of black man running away from a cop, holding up his hands in front of a cop, selling single cigarettes...etc well, they just had it coming

WTF?????

This is certainly a bugger in the argument against stem cell research. If an embryo is alive, how can you say that one of these things is not?
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

We live in a fallen creation. Sometimes the only choice is between bad and worse.

So because Adam and Eve were created with the inability to understand the difference between good and evil (and therefor not able to understand that disobeying God was wrong) and fucked up by eating fruit from a magic tree after being beguiled by a talking snake (one of God's creations), their descendants are subject to having body parts grow inside their brain?

Please explain. I never heard that one in a church before.

What choice do you mean?

What choice do you mean?

What I mean is that people often face circumstances in which there really are no good options. Like the street car dilemma where you must choose between allowing a car load of passengers to die if you don’t pull a switch would kill a rail worker.

Anyone else smell herring?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

How has this anything to do with teratomas?
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.
