The only person who can stick needles into me is a doctor, I may be a wimp but I was born with the correct number of holes in my body and see no need to increase the number!

Piercings are certainly not practical.

Not only would I never get a piercing, I never wear a ring because it is not comfortable. Consequently, I don't own any rings.

If it does not serve a practical purpose, I don't want metal touching my skin.  I don't know why anyone would.  But, to each his (or her) own.

Got my tongue pierced when I was in the service.  Helped me whittle away boring hours in the guard shack and not-so-boring hours out on the town.  Seemed awfully practical then, lol...long since taken it out.
