That was a surprising answer, but I suppose it depends on where in the U.S. one is, and with whom one comes in contact. I thought you would be from some country where there were not so many countrymen who would like to kill you.

Even though it is a red state, there are laws protecting gay people from discrimination in the workplace, unlike other states since those silly religious freedom laws have been surfacing.

Mine weren't but little by little I think they're getting there, my mum more than my dad though. PS Do tell me to shut up if I'm being a nuisance
