It's been up for 5 years and you are the first person who didn't like it, but then all I asked was why did you submit to it if you thought it looks bad? That doesn't make sense. Your hostile response to this reasonable question lets me know there's something else going on. We were friends just yesterday. We had respect and admiration for one another. What happened. I did not do anything to deserve this treatment from you PT.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Which is accurate as per the OP.

I just went back and reread the original post. I still don't see anything in it concerning declining anything. I never declined his submission. I hadn't even known that he had made one.

I wasn't hostile until you jumped down my throat, Rhonda.
I mentioned that I don't normally submit poems not to slam you, but rather, to explain why missing a possible deadline didn't chuff me. It wasn't sour grapes so much as an "oh well, I missed the bus" comment. As for my distaste for your site's aesthetics, that has little to do with anything; it was an aside. Had I known you would be this sensitive, I might have simply held my tongue. If your other readers like your layout, great. I still wish you'd simply delete my submission, not because of your layout, but because I find your response unnerving and I should read your site more before submitting anything. Sorry to have ruffled your feathers.
