Gosh I just don't know what to do. I won't get approved for Unemployment for at least a few weeks and that's IF I get approved. I'm supposed to move into my new place tomorrow.
I can last about 3-4 months with my current funds... I would have to get a job fast. If I bail on the apartment I lose my deposit and lose the apartment. :-(  RE: Bored

Well if there was no written warning giving prior to termination and there were no conduct issues ( theft, discrimination, etc) unemployment should be approved. If they choose to fight it you may have to go to a hearing and if they let you go for performance unless they have documentation to support a performance management program was followed with no improvement the court will rule in your favor. To your original question one thing to remember events going on in your lives have a heavy impact on your relationship. Give it some thought as to do you think the rift is because of stress or would it be present even in the best ofcircumstances. If the latter then talk to her about your feelings and come to a decision of you want to try and work things out or go your separate ways. The longer you wait the more unhappy you'll both be and the harder it'll be to take that step.
Comcast guy just came down because I couldn't get my cable TV working. I told him that I used to work for another cable company and that I also used to be an installer. He said that Comcast is hiring and he makes like $800-$1,000 a week. They also provide the truck, ladder, and safety equipment. He gave me the number to his cell phone, his boss, and Comcast office directly.
He said call, they will give you a job! |
