Furthermore the claimed incident happened after the guy was at least 23 years old with a history of mental issues and the mother had similar mental issues. Any sex between them would have been most likely strange incest, but not a serious attempt at "corrective rape."
Just because an article claims something that correlates to our beliefs does not make it true. Indian newspapers often make rediculous claims, usually about religious magic.
