I might make some deviled eggs in the morning. I always throw in bacon crumbles (I'm the only one here that likes capers) and sprinkle every other one with paprika.

Was going to make burgers tomorrow, but I'm craving this barbecuey casserole and I have all the ingredients. I know casserole ain't really a 4th kinda entree, but we all like it. And, I'm a little busy for a few days, if I make a double batch we have decent leftovers for a few days. LOL!

I could see homemade cornbread, have all the fixins for that, and maybe a tart cherry pie.

I make a killer mac and cheese too, but the cheese in the fridge has a good date, so no pressure to use it up. However, I frequently fry up a pan of Wright bacon with the mac and cheese, and I bet I need to be using that up . . .

I made Kebabs, my buddy made some ribs that were awesome, and I ate too much and had quite a few beers.

I also lost a debate about what beer is the most hipster beer. It is, without reservation, the deplorable Pabst Blue Ribbon. I thought it would be the most esoteric craft beers. My faith in humanity has taken some blows of late. Huggy and Randy are doing their best.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Here was the final spread. Brisket, sausage, 6 different flavors of ribs, potato salad, baked beans, fresh corn on the cob, tomatoes and cucumbers, and yeast rolls. For desert there was a hot fresh blueberry pie (you can see it baking in the oven) and a peach cobbler. The corn, tomatoes, cucumbers and peaches were all picked Friday morning at one of the local orchard/farms.

It rained on and off most of the day yesterday so the smoker was sitting in the garage safe from hungry pups. After the initial excitement of having guests wore off they were overwhelmed with 18 people in the house and retreated to the bedroom.
