I think that people should be honest. If you want to cheat then find someone who wants an open marriage. You don't have to lie and your partner might actually enjoy hearing your stories about sex with someone else.
The reason that, I think, that more people aren't honest at the beginning of the relationship is because they want to cheat but don't want the other person to be able to do so.

What do I think about that site? I guess the best description of it is that they managed to find a way to monetize betrayal.
I'm curious about the hack, because they are claiming to have the info for 37 million accounts. Which means that tens of millions of people have taken the step of signing up for a site whose only purpose is to facilitate cheating on a spouse or companion or SO. Aside from that, the high number may work to the benefit of those who have used the service, since it might be like finding needles in a very large haystack. But more than that, the fact that so many people signed up means that even if AM.com gets shut down by this, some other service will replace it. That's the dark side of the internet, and barring some very draconian changes to the way it works and the policies that govern it, it will remain a place where some of the worst behavior can be carried out with little or no repercussions.

In the OP article, replace "married people cheat" with, "gay people meet". It takes a special kind of asshole to threaten outing people for their sexlives.
